Your curiosity about psychotherapy is a courageous step in your healing process. Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed, sad, angry, and lonely in your struggle. You have learned to suppress your emotions and needs for so long and it creates more suffering at this time. You feel a void, disconnected from yourself and others, and long for deeper connections. You are afraid that your pain and tears are signs of weakness and you will be shamed and judged for them.
